I took a bunch of videos, but you'll just have to wait till I get back to see those......until then use your imagination Posted by Picasa

There were soo many little white kids there that I'd never seen on the island before......they must've flown them in or something Posted by Picasa
Add a nice rainbow to the background.........you got yourself a pretty sweet pic Posted by Picasa
I can't believe Rokosh got a picture of this........This Aussie ollied from a floater (where you ride on top of the curl of the wave) to the flat (which is about 3 feet deep covered in coral and urchins) and stayed up even with the white wash exploding behind him when he landed........I was told afterwards that that's a common way to break your board............balls Posted by Picasa
The guy holding the Barbados flag is Mark Holder, Barbados best surfer, who is also coincidently good friends with one of the girls at Bellairs. Unfortunately he didn't make it past the semi-finals today cause he was only able to catch one wave in his 10 minute heat...... he didn't seem to mind though and proceeded to get wasted on the beach Posted by Picasa
Another money shot.......tearing off the top of the wave Posted by Picasa
I think this is the best picture Robo took........one of the moves pulled most often was called a snap (I think) where you ride up the wave and quickly turn back down and try to spray as much water off the top with as much style as possible......On the waves today the most snaps busted on one wave was 5..........Nice snapshot Roko........Hardyharhar Posted by Picasa
Unable to take any good pictures of the competition with my 3x zoom.......I kept my focus mostly to things on the beach Posted by Picasa
The weather was really shist, it kept raining on and off and the waves were very choppy and inconsistent.......but the amazing thing was these guys were still able to rip them apart when they got one Posted by Picasa
Rokosh took some increadible pictures of the surfers with his 20 billion times zoom Posted by Picasa
These guys worked for Reef, who was sponsoring the comp........plus that dude's mohawk had a tail......totally blog worthy Posted by Picasa
The beach was packed with a whole bunch of white people that mysteriously came out of nowhere Posted by Picasa
Barbados hosts an international surfing competition at Bathsheba every year Posted by Picasa

Our catch, the little guys are black fin tuna......and Jeff cleaning the 'cuda......That night we invited everyone at Bellairs over to the place where the Rokosh's were staying for an amazing and massive feast of feasts......I can safely say the best tasting fish I've ever had was the wahoo......AND we still have tons of left! Posted by Picasa
Roko refused to hold anything that he didn't have a hand in catching.........modesty of a true fisherman Posted by Picasa
Ted, in good fashion, playing the wahoo Posted by Picasa
The other baracuda that we....uh I mean, Jeff caught Posted by Picasa
Mr. and Mrs. Rokosh holding one of the baracuda's and the king fish (a.k.a. the wahoo) that we caught Posted by Picasa
Not that I had anything to do with catching this fish other than cheering.....I felt it necessary to hoist him over my head triumphantly when we got back Posted by Picasa
When the fish weren't biting.......we were left to our own devices (not shown: 1 case of beer & bottle of rum) Posted by Picasa
That's Jeff.....he basically went fishing and brought us along to watch.....He chose the sites, baited the lines, and gaffed the fish when we'd reeled it in. Alain's reeling in the big one here, that was pretty much the extent of our purpose on the boat other than limin' out......I still had a bomb time though Posted by Picasa
Ted diligently kept a watchful eye on the rod for a good chunk of the day Posted by Picasa
Turns out the only real effort that was required for one or two people, was holding their cereal down.........I'm glad to say that no one ever showed the ocean "what they were made of" all day Posted by Picasa
